About us
A consultancy built around delivery, not slideware
JHB TECH Consulting works with South African organisations on the enterprise systems that run their operations, planning them properly, implementing them carefully and supporting them afterwards.

Who we are

Enterprise experience, close to the client
We are a South African consultancy working across SAP, cloud, integration, data and application delivery. Our teams are deliberately small and senior: the people who scope an engagement are the people who deliver it.
Most of our work sits where enterprise technology gets uncomfortable, legacy landscapes that have grown for a decade, process debt nobody has had time to unwind, and reporting that three departments disagree about. We are comfortable there.
We are also clear about what we do not claim. Detailed client references, awards and partner certifications will be published on this site only once the business has supplied documentation we can stand behind.
What we believe
Principles we will not trade away
- 01
Evidence before advice
Recommendations come from your systems, processes and data. If we cannot show where a finding came from, we do not present it as a fact.
- 02
Small increments, visible early
Work is broken into pieces you can review while decisions are still cheap to change, rather than a single reveal at the end of a programme.
- 03
Plain language
Technical decisions are explained in terms of cost, risk and operational impact so the people accountable can make an informed call.
- 04
Capability stays behind
Documentation and skills transfer are part of delivery, not an optional extra. Your teams should be able to run and extend what we build.
How an engagement runs
From first conversation to steady state
- Week 0
Consultation
A structured conversation about the outcome you need, the constraints you are working within and whether we are the right fit.
- Weeks 1 to 3
Assessment
A focused review of the relevant processes, systems and data, ending in prioritised findings and delivery options with estimates.
- Weeks 3 to 6
Design and plan
Target process, architecture and delivery plan agreed with the business owners who will live with the result.
- Delivery
Build, test, cut over
Incremental delivery with business sign-off at each cycle, tested data migration and a detailed cutover plan.
- Post go-live
Hypercare and optimise
Support through the first reporting cycles, root-cause fixes and a handover into a defined support model.

Let's talk about the system that is holding you back
Book a consultation and we will spend the first session on your constraints, not our slides. You will leave with a view of the options and what each one would take.
